Tom Brady reveals back tattoo dedicated to wife, coach and team owner.
On Tuesday night a reporter for a national sports channel broke the surprising story of Tom Brady’s new tattoo. If you didn’t know Tom Brady has many tattoos on his body, all of his previous tattoos are not visible while Brady is in his Patriots uniform or shirt less on the beach. He has the logos for the 5 Super Bowl games he’s won on his left leg, on his right leg are tattoos honoring his 2 MVP awards and 4 Super Bowl MVP awards along with a portrait of his mother. He hasn’t reviled the others but told our reporter that they aren’t football related and hinted they might be on his rear of all places!
His new back piece, done by famous LA tattoo artist Kat Von D, include a silhouette of Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, the Boston City skyline with 5 stars in the sky, representing his Super Bowl wins, and three portraits of his wife Gisele, his coach Bill Belichick and Patriots team owner Robert Kraft. These three black and white portraits cover most of his back, at the bottom in gothic lettering it says “Football Family Team” with his “TB12” signature following it.
When asked his teammates weren’t surprise, most know about Brady’s love of tattoos and were thrilled to see his new artwork after practice Tuesday afternoon. Long time team Rob Gronkowki said “I love the new tattoo, it shows his love for all of us and his commitment to the Patriots team”.
