Trump to make Border Wall a tourist attraction.
Following his return from Mexico City and a meeting with Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto, Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump is sticking to his plan of constructing a wall on the United States southern border in an attempt to stem the flow of foreigners seeking a better life in America.
When asked about the wall and if it was discussed with the Mexican president Trump said “We did discuss the wall. We didn’t discuss payment of the wall. That’ll be for a later date.”
When rallying his supporters in Phoenix, following his trip, Trump said that he was sticking to his hard-line on immigration and that the estimated 11 million illegal workers in the country could all be repatriated should he become president.
When pressed as to how he planned to pay for the wall and who would build it Trump was quick to reply that Mexico would pay 100% of the construction costs, adding plus we can keep construction prices low as we will have a ready-made workforce on the border waiting to be deported that would jump at the chance for one last job where they can earn less than the minimum wage.
Trump went on to say that not only will the wall be a deterrent, for illegals sneaking into the United States , but it could in fact become a huge tourist attraction saying, “do you know how many people visit the Great Wall of China each year? “
“We have the opportunity here to build a fantastic structure, even surpassing the Taj Mahal that I built in Atlantic City, plus those Mexicans are really good at laying tiles, which means not only do we get rid of the rapists that plague our nation, we will also create service industry jobs in Texas and Arizona, a win win situation.”
