BILL COSBY DEAD.
At 9:02AM on Monday, August 29th, actor Bill Cosby was found dead in his Philadelphia, PA home. Reliable sources close to the family tell us that his wife, Camille Cosby, tried to wake him up from his nap, but he was unresponsive. He was 79 years old. Cosby was recently confined to his home after going blind. Close sources also tell us that he was taking multiple medications daily, and was also in a great deal of pain each day. He was unable to walk, and could not hold down food. Camille hired Rosa Ferrigno, a registered nurse, to live with the family to help care for Bill and administer his medication. Foul play is not suspected at the time. Rosa has told authorities that she was out running errands, and was at a local grocery store at the time of his death. Authorities are still trying to obtain security footage from the store.
It is well known that Bill Cosby has faced public scrutiny after allegations of drugging women in his early years and countless accusations of rape became public. Rumors have already started spreading around Philadelphia and Los Angeles that Rosa somehow has ties to one of the women that testified in court against Cosby. One of his accusers, Carla Ferrigno, shares the same last name and is also has family around the Philadelphia area. Some are starting to think that Rosa had administered Cosby a lethal dosage of a mixture of different medications that ultimately lead to his untimely death.
Cosby’s five children cannot be reached for comment at this time, and Camille is working with authorities to sort out exactly what happened this morning. Rosa is reported to be in questioning at the local police station, and it has been reported that no arrest has been made at this time.
Other than Quaaludes, the drug that was given to the women in his past before the many counts of sexual assault took place, there have been no reports of other illegal drug use. Sources are not able to say exactly what types of medications he has been taking recently, although there have been reports that he was given “milk” – the same sleep medicine that took the life of late pop star Michael Jackson. We are still trying to determine if the medicines Cosby was on were obtained illegally, or if they were given to him by prescription. Another source close to the family mentioned that he was wary of trying to get any type of medication from a doctor, because of his past and did not want to face any judgement from local doctors.
Tweets from Keisha Knight Pulliam (who played Cosby’s daughter Rudy on 80’s sitcom The Cosby Show), and also Malcolm Jamal Warner (he played Cosby’s son Theo on the show) expressed great sympathy and have asked for privacy for both the Cosby family, as well as their own, during this difficult time. Phylicia Rashad was unavailable for comment, as well as the rest of the family on The Cosby Show.
