U.S.A. Olympic swimmer Michael Phaelps dies today in RIO de Janeiro.

USA Olympic swimmer Michael Phelps dies today in RIO de Janeiro. It has been reported that multi Olympic gold medal winner Michael Phelps has died today. Phelps had been a known marijuana user, and has suffered a reaction between HGH and marijuana. The two drugs apparently caused an unlikely reaction that increased Phelps heart rate causing a heart attack. Phelps was training alone in Olympic village when the incident occurred and the body was not found for several hours. Phelps was 31 years old and held an impressive 18 gold medals. More than any other Olympian to date. Many athletes have been  link with using HGH but testing for the drug is nearly impossible. The reaction between marijuana and HGH is new and further testing is being done to determine exactly how the two drugs caused Phelps death. Phelps was caught using marijuana after a leaked photo surfaced following the 2012 Olympic games. He did not deny the photo but has not been linked to the drug since, at least not in the news. Phelps was well known among the athletes as always having pot, and often smoked to celebrate another victory. No one close to him knew about the HGH and no one would have suspected it. He was a pretty straight up guy, according to his friends. Maybe this will serve as warning to other athletes to stay away from performance enhancing drug and recreational drugs all together. You never know what chemical reactions these can cause, especially not in a training athlete. He just pushed his body to the limit with one drug slowing down his heart rate and the other helping him to increase it, and achieve a better workout. It was just too much for his lean body to handle. Luckily Phelps was not in the pool when it happened, he has finished and was in the locker room when he was discovered. We have lost one of the best Olympians of all time.
